A holiday in south west France

We have recently enjoyed a trip to Biarritz and surrounding areas, which included Le Rhuna, Pamplona, Capbreton, Arcachon, and Bayonne  - we flew to Bordeaux to visit family and from there drove down to the beautiful coastal town - we had intended to find further accommodation en route but finally decided to leave our bags in one place for ease.

Here are some pictures to share with you.

This is the beautiful town of St Jean de Luz - we made several visits here because it was so pretty and relaxing.

Wonderful balconies - I always find them fascinating and appealing

Aren't they just gorgeous and must have some stunning views over the marina

San Sebastian on a rainy day

A gorgeous carousel

This is the lovely town of Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port and the Nive rivers.
The Citadel was built around 1625 and stands sentinel over the town.

Stunning French countryside

More balconies - I just love them!!

Cheerio for now - hope you enjoyed sharing our holiday snaps

new start

Sawreyrose resumes - a very busy first half of the year but we are now back on track and sharing some lovely images with you.

In September my husband and I visited beautiful Parham Park in West Sussex. It was a perfect day - glorious sunshine.

Why not check their website and if you are in the area its a must to pay a visit - www.parhaminsussex.co.uk

In August we visited Edinburgh and went on board HM Yacht Britannia which is permanently moored at Forth Port in Edinburgh. A most beautiful vessel, with a nostalgic atmosphere - quite relaxed and very special.

Farm land in North Yorkshire on a beautiful sunny day
A glorious Rudbeckia and a very busy bee
